Mission
The Tar Heel Wrestling Club (THWC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization with a mission of advancing, supporting, and continuing to raise the bar for wrestling at all levels. The THWC will support athletes on their path to competing for world and olympic championships. The THWC was founded in 2016.
The THWC is a USA Wrestling chartered club and an official U.S. Olympic Regional Training Center site that operates in accordance with all NCAA, USA Wrestling, and U.W.W rules and regulations. The THWC will provide coaching and training opportunities for wrestlers of all ages, from youth all the way to senior level athletes.
Our mission is to support the Triangle and surrounding areas of North Carolina with world class coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities to help make the Olympic dream of young men & women a reality.

Our vision is to provide world class coaching and high level training opportunities to wrestlers. By allowing our high school and college age athletes to train alongside Olympic caliber wrestlers they will see what it takes to succeed at the highest levels on and off the competition mats.
